Fashion and sewing workshop for Ukrainian participants
A fashion and sewing workshop developed with DesignLab Miami will take place in June 2026 between Caritas Bad Gleichenberg and FarmLab, introducing participants to sewing, design and upcycling through a hands-on programme.

How can open learning and working spaces strengthen rural regions?
DorfUni Bad Radkersburg and FarmLab organised a vision workshop in Bad Radkersburg, bringing together around 40 participants from local associations and public institutions. The workshop focused on developing the idea of “Mitmachräume” — open, participatory spaces for learning, making, and community exchange in the region.
1st Prize at Vulkanland Innovation Awards
FarmLab in Kapfenstein has been awarded first prize in the category Crafts at the 66th Innovation Award of the Steirisches Vulkanland.
Land Matter/s Exibition
FarmLab hosted Land Matter/s, a collective exhibition presenting the outcomes of recent artistic residencies. The exhibition brought together works by Nalba, Petra Garajová, and Barbara Rakovská, developed on site through hands-on research with local materials and processes.
